Welsh artist Sarah Richards has exhibited in London, Japan and Cardiff and has collections in The National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, and Companies House, Cardiff, as well as a growing number of international private collectors. Based in Cardiff, Sarah takes her influences from the British landscape painters of the mid 20th Century, such as Peter Lanyon and Ben Nicholson, as well as international painters such as Georges Braque and Edouard Vuillard. The work shows an increasing concern with rhythm, music and colour.
Sarah teaches part time at Cardiff Open Art School at UWIC's School of Art and Design.
